SQL Server Developer role full time Boston, MA

Team of 4 developers and architects to create innovative solutions for the investment divisions. Must have financial services industry exp.


Responsibilities:

Work closely with research analysts and portfolio managers to comprehend the data needs, and data usage.
Propose and design database solutions.
Implement database systems based on the solutions proposed and work closely with users to test and integrate the system into the current production environment.
Support the systems developed
Skills:

College degree required.
Over 4 years of experience developing with SQL Server.
Over 2 years experience architecting complex (at least 20 tables) databases.
Over 1 year working in the financial services industry.
Experience creating OLAP Cubes.
Self-starter, able to work as part of a small team as well as independently, with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize work and effectively manage multiple tasks.
