Title: Junior-Mid Level Developer

Location: Burlington, MA

Job Description:

We are assisting our client in finding an experienced developer of distributed systems with an interest in enabling reliable, high-performance interoperability that solves real world business problems.

Responsibilities:

The primary objective of this role is to develop innovative solutions for scalable, high performance, secure distributed systems.

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or related field and one to three years experience in server-based development.
• Experience implementing Enterprise level system interoperability or enterprise application interoperability.
• Networking programming with focus on throughput performance tuning and connection scalability.
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, schema design and caching).
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to work well in a team.
• Solid background in software engineering and object-oriented programming.
• Experience in Java, Eclipse, and C++ or C#.
• Exposure to enterprise service bus products such as JMS or Tibco.
• Hands-on implementation experience with Java sockets, NIO, or other asynchronous I/O package.
• Experience working with Web and application servers like Apache, Tomcat, BEA, JBoss, IBM WebSphere, or other distributed applications frameworks.
• Experience optimizing performance in a bytecode/JIT (Java or .NET) environment.
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
