How To Get More Interviews

Estimated attendance
 9  people attended.

This meetup is a great chance to learn simple (but little known) ways to get more interviews and land your dream job.

We'll start with a presentation about writing a powerful resume and getting it into the right hands -- including how to network effectively. Then we'll have a Q&A session about getting interviews and landing a great job.

Bring a copy of your resume and your elevator speech -- if you don't know what that is, come find out!

The meeting will be fun and free, and a great way to build momentum for your job search!

Talk about this Meetup

I was fortunate to have heard about this Meetup through a friend. Scott imparted knowledge that has since helped in revising my resume and cover letter approach. (It can be difficult to know how to market yourself, but with the professional guidance offered in this Meetup, you need not look any further.) Thanks to this Meetup I was also able to learn the basics of an elevator pitch (which really can take place just about anywhere), and now know the importance of being able to sell yourself.

I walked away from the last week's meetup feeling like it was time wisely invested. The suggestions we received were clear and specific (often including a templated format which Scott openly shared with the group). The conversation covered everything from the writing the objective to the elevator pitch. I am definitely looking forward to the next event!

Hi Ellen, When you enter the hotel, make a right. We'll meet on the first floor, in the breakfast-bar area. There's lots of space with tables and chairs, and plenty of windows. -- Scott

Do we meet in the lobby of the hotel? I'd also like to know where the discussion will be held.
